EYFS 1 – Home-Learning Heroes 24/04/20

April 24, 2020

Hi everyone!

It’s great to see so much wonderful work going on again this week.  Thank you to all of the parents who have accessed the class blog and completed the challenges on the home learning grid. Here’s some of the wonderful work completed by this week’s home-learning heroes:

Lots of children completed the challenge to draw a portrait of themselves and label it with their name.  I can’t believe how good you all are at drawing and name writing now. Well done!

What a creative way of completing the threading challenge – threading beads onto pipe cleaners and making a rainbow. Maybe you could try this.

It’s great to see that children have been having a go at the ‘counting up the stairs’ challenge. An easy way to really improve your child’s 1 to 1 correspondence when counting, as well as developing number recognition.

I’ve been sent photos showing so many other wonderful activities that children have been doing. Thank you so much for all of the support that you are giving your children at home. We really appreciate it and I’m sure that your children do.

If you’ve not yet sent any photographs to your child’s online learning journey, please do so by replying to the email that I sent containing your child’s learning journey up to the point of school closing.

Take care and stay safe. Missing you all.

Love from Miss Simpson x
