At St Luke’s RC Primary School, we are committed to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), meaning that we feel it is important for our children to learn about their rights and to know that rights are universal and unconditional, whilst understanding that all adults are duty bearers and are duty-bound to help all children enjoy their rights.

We aim for our children to be passionate advocates for the rights of other children, alongside our LUKIES values of being Loving, Unique, Kind, Inclusive and Empathetic.

On 12^th September 2025, St Luke’s RC Primary School was awarded Bronze: Rights Committed status.
